The festival of Holi 2026 has brought a trading pause for Indian stock market investors this week. Since Holi is being celebrated on different dates across states, many traders were confused about whether markets would remain open.

The holiday calendars of the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) have now clarified that:

Normal trading operations will resume on Wednesday, March 4, 2026.
